Calling All Emerging Artists

Magill College Sydney proudly invites young and emerging artists, including those from disadvantaged backgrounds and First Nations communities, to be part of our Pop-Up Art Exhibition this October!

Event Details
🗓 Date: October 2025
📍 Location: Level 4, 695–699 George Street, Haymarket NSW 2000

📧 Email your digital portfolio, artist profile and photo of yourself and photographs of your artworks and brief descriptions , medium and dimensions of each work to: mediaevents@magill.edu.au

Submit by 30 August 2025

Shortlisted candidates will be contacted via email by mid-September. 
We welcome all mediums such as painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, digital art and more!

🚫 Important Conditions:
  •  Only original and genuine creation of artworks will be accepted.
  •  Art involving any form of liquid, powder, or hazardous material will not be accepted.
  •  The possession, use, or transport of any dangerous items including weapons, flammable substances or chemical material are strictly prohibited and the person may be refused entry to the premises.
  •  Digital artwork must be submitted via USB. Digital artworks submitted via USB or online may not be returned unless specifically requested in advance.
  •  Artists are responsible for setting up their work, under the supervision of Magill College Sydney staff.
  •  Artists are solely responsible for the transport of their artwork to and from the venue.
  •  Magill College Sydney assumes no responsibility for any damage, loss, or theft of artworks, including during transport.
  •  Artists are encouraged to arrange their own insurance for the artwork if concerned about loss or damage.
  •  Artworks must not contain offensive, discriminatory or explicit content.
