Supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Communities

Magill College Sydney acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land on which our campus stands—the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation. We pay our respects to Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Our College promotes an inclusive and culturally safe environment where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, staff and community members feel respected, supported and empowered.

Our Commitment to Cultural Recognition and Inclusion

We recognise the diverse histories, cultures and contributions of Australia’s First Nations peoples. Our campus provides opportunities to engage with Indigenous knowledge through events, learning activities and culturally informed support services.

Community Organisations and Services in Sydney

We encourage students to access a broad network of external organisations that provide culturally safe support and opportunities for community engagement. These include:

Community Support

Culture, Education and History

Accommodation Support

Financial Support

Legal Support

Get Involved

We encourage all members of our College community to engage with our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander initiatives

Whether through participation in cultural programs, community partnerships, or education, there are many ways to contribute to a more inclusive and respectful future.
